Steps to follow:

• Removing the display screen from the body:

1. Power off your iPhone 7 plus.

2. Then place the suction cup on the screen and pull it upward carefully in order to release the screen from the bottom of the body.

3. Now use the pointed side of the spudger tool and try to loosen the screen from the bottom of the iPhone 7 plus.

4. Then slight the inserted flat end of the spudger tool to widen the gap between the display screen and the body of iPhone 7 plus.

5. Again slight the spudger toll at the left and right side of the screen to open the screen from all the sides.

6. After doing this pull the suction cup to open the screen accurately.

7. Remove the suction cup.

8. Now further insert the opening pick at the place of spudger tool to break all the remaining adhesive completely.

9. Now open the display screen from the left hand side as you open the cover of your iPhone

10. Now remove the four tri-point Y000 screws that are placed on the bracket of the lower connector by using a tri-point Y000 screwdriver.

11. Remove that bracket and place it safely aside.

12. Now use the pointed side of the spudger tool to lift the battery connect out from its housing on the logic board.

13. By using the finger nail or the pointed side of the spudger tool pull the two lower display connector from the logic board.

14. Now by using the Philips #000 screwdriver remove the two screws that are placed on the bracket of front panel sensor assembly connector.

15. Remove the bracket.

16. Remove the front panel sensor assembly connector from the logic board.

17. Now you can easily remove the display assembly from the body of the iPhone 7 plus.

• Replacing the charging port:

After removing the screen the next thing you do is to replace the charging port that is our main target.

1. Now by using the Philips #000 screwdriver remove the screws that are placed on the Wi-Fi antenna.

2. Then remove the one more Philips screw that protects the antenna component placed at the top of the case.

3. Remove the antenna at the top left side by tilt up the antenna component upward.

4. Now use the sim card eject tool and remove the sim tray by ejecting it in the hole.

5. Now disconnect the rear face camera by using the flat end of the spudger tool and pry the dual face camera cable connector.

6. Remove the screws that are placed on the rear facing camera bracket and remove the bracket.

7. Remove the camera flash cable connector again by using the pointed end of the spudger tool.

8. Unscrew those two screws that are placed on the upper cable bracket.

9. Remove the bracket.

10. Remove the screws that are placed on the Wi-Fi antenna by using a pentalobe screwdriver.

11. Further, remove the two Philips screws that are used to secure the grounding clip placed at the left top side on the logic board.

12. Remove the grounding clip.

13. At the top edge of the rear case, there is an antenna flex cable that is secured by a Philips screw. Open that screw.

14. Disconnect the cable connector by using the sharp end of the opening tool.

15. Place the flat end of the spudger tool under that antenna cable to remove all the adhesive completely.

16. Remove the antenna flex cable by tilting it upward.

17. Now remove the two coaxial cable from the logic board by using the tweezer.

18. Two ribbons cables that are placed on the logic board need to be so remove them accurately by prying.

19. Remove the seven different screws that are placed on the logic board by using their respective screwdrivers.

20. Take out the sim card eject plunger from the logic board by pushing it using spudger tool.

21. Now deroute the two coaxial cable from the logic board that are held by small metal clip.

22. Now by lofting the logic board from the lower side slide it carefully towards the bottom.

23. Then remove the two screws that are placed on the barometric vent by using Philips screwdriver.

24. Now remove all the adhesive by pushing the barometric vent towards the tapic engine.

25. Remove the barometric vent.

26. Disconnect the tapic engine cable by prying it.

27. Remove the three Philips screws from it and then remove it.

28. Now remove the speakers by open the five Philips screws from it.

29. Remove the two screws that are placed on the lightning connector by using a Philips screwdriver.

30. Remove the spring contact that is protected by that screw.

31. Further removing the three screws that are placed on lightning connector by using a Philips screwdriver.

32. From the bottom side of the lightning port remove two Philips screws.

33. Remove the two microphones by using the sharp ended tool.

34. Now place the opening pick underneath the lightning connector cables and start sliding it.

35. By sliding continuously remove all the adhesive. But do it carefully without destroying any other component.

36. Now disconnect the lightning cable assembly.

37. Place the new lightning connector.

• Reassembling:

For reassemble repeat the above process in reverse steps. Screwed all the screws and cable in the same way you disconnect them.
